SynapsePay is now SynapseFI

Sankaet Pathak
Chief Executive Officer

Today we are changing our name from SynapsePay to SynapseFI. We thought the name change was needed as we have moved beyond just payments and are now providing a full suite of banking tools.

As part of this change, we are moving our website to synapsefi.com.

Here are some more changes that are coming as a part of our name change:

New Banking Partner

We are happy to announce the addition of a new banking partner, Evolve Bank & Trust, Member FDIC. As we have grown throughout the years, we have expanded beyond payments into a full blown banking product. From adding FDIC insured bank accounts to providing more tools to help you know your customer and manage risk, we continue to surround these accounts with more features.

Evolve Bank & Trust is the ideal partner to help us grow these services for you. Beginning September 9th 2017, all synapse customers will be moved to Evolve.

This move will allow us to begin exposing account details for direct deposits, issue checks & cards on demand, and eventually provide bill payment solutions. Many customers have already made this move as part of our beta testing.

Updated Terms of Service

As a part of our name change and addition of a new banking partner, our Terms of Service are changing on September 9th 2017 as well.

If you are using our banking APIs today, you will need to update all references to our agreements found on our new legal page. A member of our team will also be contacting you about making the necessary updates.

That’s it for now. Stay tuned for upcoming blog posts on improvements and new features. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at help@synapsefi.com.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
